To administer membership affairs (including authentication protocols for your access to or use of BitoPro Services and this Website); to enhance the quality of Website services; to ensure BitoPro's compliance with regulatory requirements (including, without limitation, Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT), fraud prevention, any self-regulatory organizational (SRO) rules formulated by the Taiwan Virtual Asset Service Provider Association, or as necessary for the performance of the agreement between you and BitoPro); and to provide other e-commerce services, as well as to conduct investigations, statistical evaluations, and research analysis.
      2. BitoPro may disclose your personal data to Jumio, a third-party service provider that provides identity verification and with whom BitoPro partners, its affiliate financial institutions (collectively, 'Partner Financial Institutions', including FEIB) and their designated agents. Such Partner Financial Institutions and agents are authorized to process and utilize your personal data strictly within the scope of cooperation-related purposes (including, without limitation, identity authentication, verification of the authenticity of designated bank accounts, financial crime prevention, and adherence to AML/CFT and anti-fraud mandates). Furthermore, BitoPro may, in response to inter-VASP inquiries, provide your personal data or other requisite information; BitoPro also reserves the right to share your personal information, to the extent necessary, to comply with the investigative or prosecutorial demands of judicial authorities (including courts, law enforcement, and national security agencies) across multiple jurisdictions.
      3. The aforementioned purposes correspond to the following statutory categories under the Personal Data Protection Act: 014 (Civil Servants Property-Declaration, Recusal Due to Conflicts of Interests and Campaign Contributions), 025 (Crime Prevention, Criminal Investigation, Enforcement, Correction, Juvenile Protective Measures, Crime Victim Protection or Rehabilitation Protection), 063 (Collection, Processing and Use of Personal Data by Non-Governmental Agencies as Defined by Law), 069 (Contract, Quasi-Contract or Other Legal Relationship Matters), 090 (Consumer, Customer Management and Service), 094 (Property Management), 135 (Information (Communication) Services), 136 (Information (Communication) and Database Management), 137 (Information and Communication Security and Management), 157 (Investigation, Statistics and Research Analysis), 181 (Other Business Operation in accordance with the Business Registration or the Articles of Association).
   2. Categories of Personal Information Collected:
      1. Identity information, such as name, telephone number, bank account number, ID card number, photocopy of ID card, foreigner's passport, residence permit number, and photocopy of residence permit.
      2. Characteristic information, such as gender, date of birth, etc.
      3. Biometric, such as portrait, fingerprint, etc.
      4. Account information, such as user account and password.
      5. Financial information, such as bank account, bank statements, and transactional information.
      6. Visual copies of personal identification information, encompassing documents issued by government agencies, passport, ID card, or driver's license.
      7. Familial circumstances, e.g., marital status, spouse or cohabitant's name, former spouse or cohabitant's name, date of marriage, number of children, etc.
      8. Occupation.
      9. Licenses or other permits.
      10. Courts, prosecutor's office, or other judicial authorities or procedures: Pertaining to litigation and relevant data concerning civil or criminal matters pertaining to the data subject.
      11. Present employment condition, e.g., employer, job title, etc.
      12. Business-related licenses.
      13. Salary and withholding details: Salary, wages, tax payment situations, etc.
      14. Resident identification information, comprising your water, electricity, gas information, or similar details.
      15. Additional data, such as home and work addresses, email address, non-confidential emails. (The aforementioned data categories, as classified as: C001 identifying individuals, C002 identifying financiers, C003 identifiers within government data, C011 personal descriptions, C021 family circumstances, C038 occupation, C039 licenses or other permits, C041 courts, prosecutor's office or other judicial authorities or procedures, C061 Current Employment Status, C068 Payroll and Withholdings, C081 legal transaction business concerning personal data, C093 financial transactions, C102 agreements or contracts, C103 licenses related to business, C131 retrieval of written documents, C132 uncategorized data in the specific purpose and the classification of personal information of the Personal Information Protection Act)
2. Upon user utilization of BitoPro services, visits to the BitoPro webpage, or participation in website activities, BitoPro shall automatically receive and record server data originating from the user's browser, including yet not confined to IP address, data contained within website cookies, mobile device identification, domain names, device information, usage time, browser type, geographic location, operating system, server record and records of webpages accessed as per user requests. In compliance with the regulations regarding Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and to fulfill the necessity of executing Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures, BitoPro shall collect and process users' facial photos (selfies) and selfies holding identity documents for the purposes of identification and biometric recognition.
3. Duration: Personal data collected by BitoPro shall be retained for a period of at least 5 years following the termination of the business relationship with you, unless a longer retention period is required by other laws. BitoPro shall protect your personal data within the aforementioned retention period. Upon the expiration of the retention period, or when the specific purpose of data collection no longer exists, BitoPro shall erase, or cease processing or using your personal data.
4. Region: Taiwan and any territory where BitoPro services are extended, including areas where utilization of such personal data is deemed necessary in the future based upon BitoPro's commercial judgment.
5. Disclosure to Third Parties: BitoPro shall under no circumstances sell, exchange, lease, or in any covert manner disclose your personal data to other entities or individuals. Save for instances where your personal consent is obtained or compliance with the subsequent circumstances, BitoPro shall furnish your personal data collected by this website to third parties as follows:
   1. Where it is requested through a lawful and official procedure by a government agency to perform its statutory duties, or by a non-government agency to fulfill its statutory obligation.
   2. Cooperative third parties with contractual relationships with BitoPro, their affiliated companies (including but not limited to BitoPro's partnering banks), entities engaged in joint marketing or promotional campaigns with BitoPro, or any other organizations engaging in commercial interactions or transactions with BitoPro, for the subsequent utilization:
      1. As a foundation for disseminating assorted informational material by third parties, including yet not limited to marketing information from third parties or their affiliated companies through channels like electronic mail, physical mail, telephone, and short message service (SMS).
      2. As a basis for market research conducted by third parties or their affiliated companies to optimize service content, and the integration, importation, documentation, or other means of retention within their internal management systems.
      3. Other processing or utilization means specifically stipulated between BitoPro and said third parties or their affiliated companies in a contractual capacity.
   4. In cases of BitoPro's merger or acquisition of assets with other third parties leading to a transfer of operational rights, BitoPro shall publicize relevant particulars. In such an event, all or a part of user information owned by BitoPro may be transferred to a third party; however, the third party shall continue to inherit and abide by the relevant regulations stipulated within this Policy regarding personal data.
   5. Other circumstances mandated by law.

   In the event that BitoPro furnishes your personal data to the aforementioned third parties, BitoPro shall strictly require such third parties to comply with Section 3 of this Policy, to protect your personal data within the retention period. Upon the expiration of the retention period, or when the specific purpose of data collection no longer exists, such third parties shall erase, or cease processing or using your personal data. BitoPro shall also strictly require such third parties to comply with the Personal Data Protection Act, regulations regarding privacy protection, and confidentiality obligations, and shall implement necessary inspection procedures to ensure their compliance.

6. Mode of Usage: Through automated machinery or any other non-automated means. Any transfer or sharing of personal data to third parties by BitoPro via electronic means shall be conducted through the TLS 1.2 secure communication protocol.

Chapter 2 User Entitlements

1. As prescribed by Article 3 of the Personal Data Protection Act, users are entitled to the subsequent rights regarding the provision of personal data:
   1. Users possess the discretion to provide personal data or not. Nonetheless, the event of user refusal to provide personal data shall result in BitoPro's inability to execute necessary verification and processing procedures, rendering the inability to offer relevant services. BitoPro reserves the right to reject applications for relevant transactions or services in such instances.
   2. Users are authorized to query, review, or duplicate their personal data. BitoPro may levy necessary costs and fees in accordance with the law.
   3. Users are entitled to request BitoPro to supplement or rectify their personal data. When exercising this right, you should provide a reasonable explanation as per the law.
   4. Users can request BitoPro to cease the collection, processing, utilization, or deletion of their personal data. However, if the data is required for the execution of relevant procedures, BitoPro shall not be obligated to comply with the request as per the law.

However, until BitoPro verifies your identity as the owner, you may not apply for queries, duplication, access requests, or modifications of personal data and account content that do not belong to you.
2. According to the aforementioned provisions, you may request the cessation of collecting, processing, utilizing, or deleting your personal data at any time. Nevertheless, once such processes are halted, BitoPro reserves the right to terminate its website services to you.
3. If your browser, installed programs, or devices permit, you may at any time block, delete, or disable tagging tools (for browser settings, refer to the instructions below), such as selecting the level of cookie acceptance in browser settings, which includes accepting all cookies, receiving notifications when cookies are set, rejecting all cookies, and so forth. Should you object to BitoPro's sharing of your personal data with key third parties—including its affiliates, Partner Financial Institutions and their designated third-party service providers, telecommunications companies, or other vendors—pursuant to our reasonable discretion and Article 5 of Chapter I, please refrain from registering for or utilizing BitoPro Services and this Website. If you have already registered or utilized the Website, please contact us immediately via the contact information provided herein to exercise your rights under Article 1 of Chapter II of this Privacy Policy. In such event, BitoPro may be unable to continue providing BitoPro Services or access to this Website.

1. You agree that the information you provide, such as your phone number, email, and ID card details, for the purpose of registering a BitoPro account is accurate. Should any false or untrue information be provided, you agree to assume all civil and criminal legal responsibilities. If any illegal use of your personal data or abnormalities are discovered thereafter, you undertake to promptly notify BitoPro.
2. You acknowledge that when using this service, the information provided and used is legal, does not infringe upon third-party rights, violate third-party agreements, or engage in any unlawful activities. Any translation of this Privacy Policy into other languages is provided for convenience only and should not be used for the interpretation or application of this Privacy Policy. The English translation of this Privacy Policy is for reference purposes only. In case of any discrepancies, the Chinese version shall prevail.
